California developer scores bonds in second attempt for Southern JoCo industrial project

After switching municipalities a California-based developer is moving forward with plans to build a new industrial park in Southern Johnson County.
At 175th Street and Clare Road, Panattoni Development Co. plans to build eight Class A warehouse buildings totaling approximately 2.8 million square feet on about 183 acres. Wednesday, the Gardner City Council signaled its intent to issue as much as $365 million in industrial revenue bonds to support the development.
