John Lynass is the Senior Director, Capital Markets for Panattoni Development Company. He is responsible for working with equity partners in acquisition and development opportunities, negotiations of venture documents, ongoing venture compliance monitoring, and coordinating disposition of assets with equity partners.

In 2007 John began his career with Panattoni as a Regional Operating Officer for the Denver, Nevada and St. Louis offices. Previous experience helped him move to the Regional Finance Officer position for Denver, National Build to Suit, Chicago, St. Louis and Seattle/Spokane/Portland regions. When he transitioned to the Capital Markets position he first covered the Denver and Eastern region offices. In his current position, he is responsible for the Northeast and Tennessee offices. Additionally, John oversees the other Capital Market Directors.

During his tenure with Panattoni, John has negotiated the placement of equity and debt on many projects through the years and worked with the majority of Panattoni’s equity providers and lenders. From 2010 to 2015 John oversaw the team that managed the equity and debt workouts and liquidation of over 225 projects.

Prior to joining Panattoni, John started his career in real estate as a Commercial Real Estate Construction Lender with Bank of America in Austin, Dallas and Denver. Following this, he served as the KeyBank Commercial Real Estate Credit Risk Officer in Denver covering the Denver, Phoenix and Salt Lake markets. Before joining Panattoni he was the Denver Commercial Real Estate Lending Market Manager for US Bank.
Outside of Panattoni, John volunteers with Denver Big Serve, a city-wide single day filled with projects across the community. He is involved with Habitat for Humanity and the Denver Area Food Bank.
