Kristen Dickey
Director - Environmental Management
Kristen Dickey advises Panattoni on the acquisition and management of properties with environmental challenges. She manages environmental due diligence, remediation, and the regulatory aspects of projects throughout North America. Kristen advises Panattoni’s local development teams on environmental risk and strategic structuring of environmental issues consistent with the company’s goals. At Panattoni, she has participated in the redevelopment of dozens of Brownfield sites. Prior to joining Panattoni, Kristen worked for 20 years as an environmental consultant as a Practice Area Lead and General Manager with a focus on global due diligence and compliance and projects including technical support on site investigation/remediation project support, audits, and compliance program development to various Fortune 100 businesses.
Prior to joining Panattoni, Kristen was a Client Manager for EHS Support, LLC and a Compliance Services Lead for ESC/WSP/Parson Brinckerhoff. Her duties at these companies included the following:
- Completed environmental due diligence projects as part of merger and acquisition activities for clients in the industrial, financial, commercial, and real estate sectors. Projects covered sites in North America, Europe and China.
- Experience conducting hundreds of Phase I Environmental Site Assessments of industrial, residential, commercial, energy (oil and gas) and agricultural properties.
- Preparing and executing recommendations for further investigation including Phase II environmental site assessments and remediation.
- Preparing liability cost estimates associated with compliance and contamination.
- Completion of various environmental compliance projects including audits, regulatory agency negotiations, and compliance support including the preparation of permit applications and environmental plans/reports as well as agency negotiations and penalty mitigations.
- Acted as General Manager of the Denver, Colorado office for 6 years which included day-to-day management of the office and meeting business development requirements under a Key Client Program and Global Organizations Structure.
- Client Manager for various Fortune 100 financial and industrial clients providing environmental recommendations to senior risk managers.
