Michael Gajos joined Panattoni Development Company in 2020 and currently leads equity capitalization for new acquisitions and development projects across the Western US. As the Director, Capital Markets he helps execute firmwide capital allocation strategies and grows new and existing investor relationships.

Michael has held various positions within Panattoni working as a Finance Manager, Senior Finance Manager, Regional Finance Officer, and now as Director, Capital Markets. Throughout his tenure he has executed a robust pipeline of industrial acquisitions and developments totaling ±20M SF across the Pacific Northwest, Nevada, and Midwest markets. These comprised a wide range of ground-up speculative and BTS developments, value-add opportunities, and recapitalizations. As Regional Finance Officer, he led debt capitalization for financing requirements across the Pacific Northwest and St. Louis market.

Prior to joining Panattoni, Michael served as an Originations Associate at Bank of America’s Real Estate Structured Finance Group. He sourced, underwrote, and structured fixed and floating rate real estate loans across all asset classes for CMBS and balance sheet execution. Michael started his career as an analyst in JP Morgan’s Commercial Real Estate group.

Originally from the north suburbs of Chicago, IL, Michael now calls Southern California home. He is actively involved in the NAIOP SoCal Chapter as a graduate of the Young Professionals Group and member of the membership committee. He is also involved with ULI Los Angeles. In his free time he enjoys playing beach volleyball, golf, tennis, and traveling to new places.
