Ryan Koop is the Partner, for the Carolinas with Panattoni Development Company. He is responsible for business procurement, development management, leasing and day-to-day operations for the Carolinas region. Ryan brings over 20 years of industry experience to this position, including 15 years focused on brokering industrial lease and sale transactions. Most recently, Ryan served as a Senior Director with Cushman & Wakefield in Greenville, SC before joining Panattoni in 2025. Added: Jim Odewald was named Partner for the National Development Group in 2005. Prior to this position, he was a Senior Development Manager for the same group. Prior to joining Panattoni Development, Jim was the Vice President of National Projects with Alston Construction. He has been employed with Panattoni since 2002.

Prior to joining Panattoni, he successfully advised on and executed over 350 commercial real estate transactions across the United States for a combined transaction value of over $500 million throughout his career. He has assisted in land procurement and landlord representation on 10 buildings encompassing over 2.3 million square feet for Panattoni. Notable projects include land procurement, leasing and the sale of 6 buildings, totaling 1.2 million square feet, at Apple Valley Industrial Park in Spartanburg, SC, 3 buildings, totaling 1 million square feet at Tyger Ridge Logistics Center in Duncan, SC, and a total of 182,000 square feet at Abner Creek Logistics Center in Greer, SC.

In 2020, Ryan attained his Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR) designation and is active in the organization along with the South Carolina Economic Developer’s Association.
